Operating within an extremely tough and unpredictable climate, ports and terminals, under extreme supply pressure, continue to function. Port equipment is playing a vital role in ensuring the cargo is unloaded and flows through the terminal to its end destination.
But although the pandemic is easing in various places across the globe, supply chain disruption is predicted to continue until 2022 and maybe even beyond.
With the challenging times set to continue, focus has been on company profits and backlog at ports, but this session will talk to leading port equipment manufacturers – who are core components in the operation of a port and terminal – to discuss the lessons learned from the past 18 months, how they continue to operate in an ever-changing challenging environment and their outlook for the sector in 2022 and beyond.
