THMACSL: Massachusetts Construction Supervisor Licensing 6 CEU/Hour Workshop - Building & Energy Code Changes [MA CS Course #CS 4410] *Boxed Lunch Included*
This course has been approved by the Massachusetts Board of Building Regulations and Standards for 6.0 hours of Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License continuing education.
In this 6 hour program you will receive training on the most current edition of the Massachusetts building code changes in Chapters 3 & 4. During the 3 hour presentation of MA building code changes, we will also address how understanding the dew point and how to prevent it from ruining your assemblies. The 2021 IECC will be explained along with the MA Amendment changes. Our workman’s compensation presentation will bring you up to date with how protecting your workers actually is better for your business and its assets.
Continuing Education Hours: 6.0 Hours MACSL2 Hours Code: Building Planning – Changes to the Residential 1 & 2 Family Code – Chapters 3 & 4 – Reviewing the changes from the previous MA code edition.
3 Hours Energy: Energy Code – The Residential Energy code (2021 IECC) has been updated with MA Amendments (225 CMR22). Changes as well as new items that this code brings to the field are discussed during this module. We will discuss methods to create assemblies that breathe and stay dry using either chemical solutions or more organic solutions.
1 Hour Business Practices: Workmans Compensation – Bringing you up to date understanding of the MA Workman Compensation Regulations and rates.
