Institute of Food Technologists promotes Bryan Hitchcock The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) announced the promotion of Bryan Hitchcock to chief science and technology officer, a top leadership position within the nonprofit scientific institute committed to advancing the science of food and its application across the global food system. Hitchcock assumes the role from former IFT President John Ruff who has served in an interim capacity for the past two years.
Hitchcock joined IFT in 2019 as senior director, food chains, and executive director of the Global Food Traceability Center, spearheading efforts to address food traceability challenges and harness opportunities across the supply chain. Read more Mace Thornton joins Stratovation Group Veteran strategic communications professional Mace Thornton has joined Stratovation Group as partner and chief operating officer to lead integrated client services.
Thornton will establish a new Stratovation field office in St. Louis. He comes to Stratovation from senior leadership roles at the United Soybean Board (USB), where he was vice president of communications and marketing strategy, and the American Farm Bureau Federation, where he served as executive director of communications in Washington, D.C. Ashley Landwerlen has been promoted to senior production planner for Chore-Time, according to Jo Coverstone, supply chain manager for the CTB Inc. business unit. In her new position, Landwerlen will lead production planning for ventilation, oversee system and process training, as well as manage process documentation. Landwerlen had been named production planner for Chore-Time in August 2018. To be well prepared, Hubbard initiated a gradual transition of responsibilities and missions in July 2022.

Terrain, a new source of agricultural industry analysis for U.S. farmers and ranchers, has officially launched. Three leading Farm Credit Associations – American AgCredit, Farm Credit Services of America and Frontier Farm Credit – partnered to establish and offer Terrain to their customers.
