Humphrey joins NutriQuest as chief scientific officer
NutriQuest is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Brooke Humphrey as its new chief scientific officer. Humphrey brings over 20 years of experience in technology development roles in the animal health and nutrition industries.
Prior to joining NutriQuest, Humphrey served as senior director of collaborative research at Phibro Animal Health Corp. His career also includes various leadership positions at Cargill Animal Nutrition, where he played a key role in driving innovation and technology strategies.

Natural Biologics welcomes Smith in Northeast
Natural Biologics welcomed Harold Smith as the new business development manager for New York, Pennsylvania and New England. With more than 25 years of industry experience, Smith brings a deep understanding of animal nutrition and a strong network of livestock professionals to the team.
In his new role, Smith will collaborate with nutritionists, independent consultants, feed manufacturers and veterinarians throughout the Northeast. He will also support national accounts in both ruminant and monogastric nutrition, strengthening existing partnerships and forging new ones.
Meier joins Vita Plus as quality assurance specialist
Bruce Meier recently joined the Vita Plus team as a quality assurance specialist. In this role, Meier will ensure all manufactured products meet quality expectations and regulatory, company and customer specifications. He will also support all Vita Plus animal food manufacturing and warehouse facilities to continue to build a strong culture of quality and food safety.
Meier comes to Vita Plus with more than 25 years of operations and food safety experience in the food processing and animal feed industry. He most recently served as an animal food safety, quality and regulatory regional supervisor for a large animal nutrition company.
Lee named Loyal Ingredients senior merchandiser
Les Lee recently joined the Loyal Ingredients team as a senior merchandiser. In this key leadership role, he will support customers’ grain and feed ingredient needs and assist in creating and executing merchandising plans for various commodities. Lee will also be a resource for growers and end users as they implement marketing plans and strategies to improve profitability.
Lee comes to Loyal Ingredients with more than 15 years of experience in both energy and animal nutrition, with a focus on sales, procurement and leadership. He most recently served as a territory sales manager for a large manufacturing and distribution company. Read more
CNH announces change to global leadership team
CNH announced a key leadership transition, with Francesco Tutino assuming the role of chief human resources officer (CHRO), effective May 1, 2025, joining the company’s Global Leadership Team. His future base will be at the company’s North American headquarters in Oak Brook, Ill.
Tutino will succeed current CHRO Kelly Manley, who, after 20 years of dedicated service to CNH and previously with sister company Stellantis, will transition out of the organization. Tutino has extensive experience across multinationals, leading human resources organizations to support strategic business targets. Read more
TechMix adds new staff in U.S. and Europe
TechMix announced that Kristine Ruby has joined the Innovations team as innovations execution specialist. Ruby has more than 17 years of experience in the agriculture industry, 14 of those specializing in animal health and production with a primary focus on hog production.In addition, Dr. Antonella Della Badia has joined TechMix Europe as project and technical manager. Della Badia brings extensive experience in technical evaluation of ruminant diets, field trials, laboratory analysis and technical support. Read more
