ADM appoints Monish Patolawala as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
ADM (NYSE: ADM) announced the appointment of Monish Patolawala as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective August 1, 2024, succeeding Ismael Roig, who has been serving as ADM’s Interim CFO since January 2024. Mr. Patolawala brings to ADM more than 25 years of experience overseeing global finance and technology teams across leading industrial and healthcare companies, most recently including 3M. As EVP and CFO of ADM, Mr. Patolawala will be responsible for overseeing Global Finance and Accounting, Global Business Services, Global Technology and Enterprise Strategy.

National Turkey Federation announces new staff appointments
The National Turkey Federation (NTF) announced the appointments of Dale Nellor as senior vice president of government affairs and Taya Machado as marketing manager.
Nellor brings to the NTF team more than 20 years of public policy experience working in Washington and will succeed Leslee Oden, who formally assumed her new role as President and CEO on July 1. Machado recently graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, and will spearhead NTF marketing activities. The appointments follow the retirement of Joel Brandenberger, who served 33 years at NTF, 17 of those in the role of President and CEO.Read more
Athian names livestock industry leader, Jessica Langley, to vice president of sales role
Athian announced Jessica Langley of Greeley, Colorado, has joined its team as vice president of sales. Langley grew up on a sheep and hay operation in Northern California and brings more than a decade of professional experience in agricultural economics, production and sustainability to Athian.Athian combines advanced technology with scientific rigor to financially reward livestock producers for implementing sustainability practices on their farms. Through its cloud-based marketplace, food companies can buy certified greenhouse gas reduction credits from within their supply shed (insets).
Keck joins USPOULTRY as director, communications
U.S. Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY) announces the appointment of Hannah Keck as director, communications. She will be responsible for the planning and coordination of communication activities for USPOULTRY and its family of organizations, including the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE). She will report to Gwen Venable, executive vice president – expo & communication services.
Keck had previous industry experience with Anpario Inc. and Phytobiotics North America LLC. Her experience also includes serving as departmental journalist for the North Carolina State University (NCSU) Prestage Department of Poultry Science.
United Animal Health honors late Dr. Gary L. Allee
United Animal Health honored the late Dr. Gary L. Allee, with the 2024 John B. Swisher Leadership Award on Thursday, June 6 at World Pork Expo, celebrating his lifelong contributions to the swine industry.
The John B. Swisher Leadership Award is awarded annually during World Pork Expo to an individual who has significantly contributed to the advancement of the swine industry and who has exhibited extraordinary leadership qualities throughout their career.
Allee, who passed away in 2020, was awarded posthumously. His wife, Norma Allee, accepted the award on his behalf.
Carter joins CWT Farms International as Director for Canadian Sales
CWT Farms International, Inc. has appointed Greg Carter as the Director of Canadian Sales and Planning.
Carter will replace Jay Daniels since his move to President. Greg will focus on maintaining well established relationships with CWT’s current Canadian customer base and forging connections with new clients in Canada. In addition, he will be working on enhanced planning and development of operational efficiencies for CWT.
CWT Farms International names Daniels President
CWT Farms International, Inc. has announced the appointment of Jay Daniels as President, effective August 1. Daniels will succeed Rickey Smith, who announced his retirement earlier this year after dedicating more than 40 years to the poultry industry, 29 of those years of service at CWT Farms International. “Jay brings a wealth of experience and visionary leadership to his new role as President of CWT Farms,” said Christopher Hill, CEO. “Under his guidance, we will continue to focus on leadership in hatchery operations and our ongoing expansion plans. We anticipate the exciting future ahead for our organization under Jay’s leadership.”
Westway's presidential change
Westway Feed Products' President, Rob Brock, has announced he plans to retire effective December 31, 2024. He will remain in an advisory role for at least one year to support the Westway team. Blaine Blackburn, current Vice President of Sales & Marketing, will assume the role of President effective January 1, 2025. Blaine's experience with Westway and previous extended tenure with Cargill provides him with a diverse skillset that will serve him well in his upcoming expanded role.Read more
