Hormel vice president Brian Johnson announces retirement

Dodd named eastern area vice president at Farmers National
Farmers National Co. announced the appointment of Jason Dodd as the new area vice president for the Eastern Region.
Dodd brings more than 25 years of experience from Pioneer Hi-Bred and Corteva Agriscience, where he held various leadership roles and was instrumental in launching key brands. More recently, he has worked in residential and rural real estate in central and southern Indiana. His extensive background showcases his versatility and leadership in both agriculture and real estate sectors.
Hormel CEO to retire at fiscal year-end
Hormel Foods Corp. announced that James P. Snee, chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer, will retire at the end of fiscal 2025, following a distinguished 36-year career with the company.
The board has formed a search committee and will benefit from its existing CEO succession process to identify Snee’s successor. Internal and external candidates are being considered. Snee has agreed that once his successor is named, he will serve as a strategic advisor to the board through the end of fiscal year 2025 in late October and for 18 months thereafter.
EW Nutrition appoints two new regional directors
The Specialty Soya & Grains Alliance (SSGA) has named longtime association executive Randy Duckworth as the new executive director. He brings global ties to the agriculture production sector and extensive involvement in connecting producers, processors and buyers.
Duckworth has specialized in agricultural association management, international food marketing and food assistance programs. He has overseen marketing, promotion and research activities in over 75 countries and specializes in linking producers, processors, exporters and buyers or food manufacturers. He most recently served as chief executive officer of the Global Pulse Federation based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.Read more

Ceradis B.V., a global developer and marketer of environmentally friendly plant nutrition and crop protection solutions, announced the appointment of Lon Kreger as its new sales and marketing leader. Kreger will succeed Jan Stechmann.
