Cal-Maine Foods announces retirement of Jeff Hardin
Cal-Maine Foods Inc. announced that Jeff Hardin, senior vice president of sales, is retiring from his position with the company, effective July 23, 2024. Scott Hull, vice president of sales, will assume the executive officer role previously held by Hardin, effectively immediately. Hardin will continue to work with Hull through the transition period until his official retirement date.
Hardin joined Cal-Maine Foods in 1988 and was named vice president of sales in 2002. He has played a pivotal role in driving the company’s consistent record of sales growth and establishing valuable long-term working relationships with Cal-Maine Foods’ leading customers.Read more

NAWG hires director of communications and partnerships
The National Association of Wheat Growers (NAWG) welcomes Elizabeth Rivera as the new director of communications and partnerships. Rivera comes to NAWG with experience on Capitol Hill, interning with the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Rules and serving as Deputy Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow and the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry. Rivera is from Sacramento, California, and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon. She is eager to continue advocating for our nation’s producers and rural communities in her position at NAWG.

Lawrence named new NOVUS Swine Team innovations lead
Bradley V. Lawrence, Ph.D., has been chosen to lead research and technology initiatives for the global swine team at Novus International, Inc.
In this role, Lawrence will work with a team of in-house researchers and experts to develop and execute the swine research program that focuses on optimizing sow lifetime productivity, pig performance and survival, as well as production sustainability, all supported through intelligent nutrition.
