Engine maintenance is expected to generate the largest amount of demand at $38 billion, or 30% of total MRO demand in the forecast. Growth in engine maintenance demand is expected to outpace other categories.
Modifications will account for a further $36.9B or 29% of demand, components $31.3B or 25%, and airframe maintenance $19.3 billion or 15%. over the decade. At the size category level, Large Jets will account for the biggest share of MRO demand at 20% share despite their smaller unit values.
